Thanks to feedback from Ryan, Toney, Danielle and Karen, we are happy to announce that we just released a few fixes and new features. The iPad App was updated to use bigger text to help young readers. In addition, we updated the “Use funds / Recurring” feature to include an end date, or number of occurances. Families from more than 30 countries are using bankaroo to teach their kids about money and making smart financial decisions. We are announcing a new project, “bankaroo in your language“, to localize the bankaroo application to as many languages as our community members speak. We did all we can in the back-end and are using the right technologies to support it, and it is time to ask for your help. Many of you already customized your kids’ avatars by uploading an image – using the website. But for friends like Richie, who are using the mobile App, it was not clear how to do so. (Thank you Richie for your feedback and helping us with this great idea). We are happy to let you all know that we’ve updated the website and the mobile Apps to include cute new avatars you can choose from. If you would like to upload your own image, you can do that on the bankaroo website. So – go ahead, update your kids’ profile with a cute avatar or their gorgeous photo.
